Who is Xi Jinping and what is his vision? Speaking at the Carnegie Moscow Center, Kevin Rudd, a premier China expert and former Australian politician who was prime minister of Australia from 2007 to 2010 and again in 2013, gave his assessment of China under the leadership of President Xi Jinping and his proactive foreign policy in international arena.

Kevin Rudd is the president of the Asia Society Policy Institute and has served as Australia’s 26th prime minister (2007–2010, 2013) and as foreign minister (2010–2012). He led Australia’s response during the global financial crisis, reviewed by the IMF as the most effective stimulus strategy of any member state.
